Merle Robbins started selling UNO decks at his barber shop outside of Cincinnati, Ohio.

1972

UNO Redesigned
Merle Robbins sells the UNO game rights to International Games, Inc.
Soon, a new design is introduced featuring the iconic UNO red and black color scheme.

1978

UNO Hits Retail
UNO lands on the shelves at K-Mart, the first retail giant to put UNO nationally in their stores.
